Lucy’s Picture

Written by Nicola Moon
Lucy’s grandfather is coming to visit and she is so excited.  But while all the other children at school are preparing pictures, Lucy asks the teacher if she can make a special collage meant for her granddad.  In this short and beautiful little book, we see how a young child shares her love and for her grandfather by sharing his way of seeing the world.
This is a great book for discussing how everyone perceives the world in different ways and the value of taking the time to find a common way of sharing about it.
